Donky Pitch began in the summer of '09 as a Brighton-based club night promoting modern mutations of hip hop & colourful synth-driven, stripped-down bass music. Using several venues across the city we have played host to producers & artists like Gemmy, Tokimonsta, Blue Daisy, Slugabed, Debruit, Alex Nut & Mweslee (making Slugabed a resident), debuted amazing local producers & hosted the UK screening of Patierno's ''We Call It Skweee''.

Benefiting from extensive press coverage in a wide range of publications & blogs from the UK, Europe & the US including XLR8R, The Wire & Sonic Router it soon became obvious that this was more than just a club night. With a collective of artists building up around us we made the jump from venues to vinyl in Spring /Summer 2010. We are now a record label too.
