Klangkultur Schallplatten was founded in 2010 by Dirk Hermann and Andreas Müller. This label which is based in the Cologne area concentrates primarily on House / Tech-House style music. Andreas and Dirk originally started with a purely digital label with the name KK Digital. As the record has been a significant component in the electronic music scene and still is, it was always their goal from the start to establish a vinyl as well as a digital label. Even if there is a clear trend towards digitalization, the classical original format should still be maintained. It is due to this conviction that the two partners want to produce their first records under their label Klangkultur Schallplatten in 2012.
