Andain is the production moniker for the combined talents of Josh Gabriel, Mavie Marcos and David Penner. And their goal towards sound is that of soulful dub inspired trance with use of live instruments and moving vocals.
Huge buildups and intensely emotional vocals really set ‘Beautiful Things’ on a podium above others. And what really helps secure this position is the level of class (non-cheesy sound) that it holds throughout - something that is needed in the trance genre.
Weighing in, at just over 10 minutes in length and built for club-land, is the incredible mix of Beautiful Things by Gabriel and Dresden. This production pair have loads of experience together in the studio and give this track a slightly more progressive angle. It pulls away from the original yet keeps the driving, uplifting epic sounds and deep emotive vocals. 9/10!
