One label that has been consistently hot for the last year or two is Get Physical Music out of Germany. One artis that is largely to blame for this success is M.A.N.D.Y.. With hot releases such as ‘Tonite’ as well as they brilliant collaboration with the Sunsetpeople, M.A.N.D.Y. have been on a long run of form. Well it doesn’t end here its safe to say with yet another quality release here.
On the a-side is the very funky Achaat. Based entirely on a funky baseline working with the other musical elements, this track flows so smoothly for its 9 minute duration. Smooth melodic tones stutter in and out of the track, all while the baseline bounces nicely, and occasionally rumbles in short interludes for good measure. All in all though, it’s a very hot track.
Words Don’t Come Easy is on the flip, and its slight more downtempo and chilled then the a-side. Smooth for the most part, the beats are accompanied by a subtle base sound and quirky effects.
Another solid release for the German based label, and another stellar release for M.A.N.D.Y. who can’t seem to do a thing wrong.
