Nick Scaravilli, well known as Kid Crème, is back after a recording break to focus on DJing with this deep funk bass driven party tune.
‘Doing My Own Thing’ features the spoken vocals by Shurakano, the live MC friend of Scaravilli’s adding to the depth of the track and what a track it is. The catchy slightly repeative but enjoyable uplifting backbone (bassline) really makes this an ass moving, foot tapping booty shaking danceable tune!
It has already been featured by the BBC as tune of the week, and does not come over-commercialised or over-loaded with an endless set of remixes (it has released strictly with the original and the dub). One of the key 2004 summer anthems? I guess we gotta wait and see, but it’s definitely a top contender. A solid fresh release by the under the Illegal Beats label for Kid Creme.
