Kemek - Flow My Tears

  • Based in Los Angeles, Flow My Tears is Kemek first release on Loes Lee's Moving Target imprint after pulling off a successful remix of Loes Lee's Territory - Moving Target's tentacles have now stretched as far as the US! Flow My Tears sees Kemek in full form accompanied by a remix by Loes Lee & Don't Panik and another one on the flip by 10 Kilo's DJ Hal. Side A1. Original Mix Kicking it off with housey 4 to the floor style breakbeats with a few percussive elements to break it up, Flow My tears breaks down to a deep bass line that stays for the whole track and tends to stay stuck in your head. As the track progresses, Kemek includes more percussive effects to chop up the beats, razor like effects and deep bass drops. Side A2. Loes Lee & Don't Panik Mix The pairing of Loes Lee with new producer Don't Panik for the remix results in a darker and breakier effort featuring a heavy bass line, electro style arpeggios, tech stabs and gnarly sound effects that makes this tune stand apart and disconnected from the original. Side B1. DJ Hal Mix DJ Hal's remix sees a return of the bi-genre breakbeat 12" with breakbeat on one side and tech-house on the other. Hal keeps the deep bass line with razor like effects that made the original sound so good but transforms it into a very deep and dirty tech house track while adding in some of his own techy elements and percussive effects to the mix.
