Montreal based man of the moment; DJ Preach drops science on this dazzling two track EP for Primate Endangered Species. The first cut, 'Ilusiones' is a complete monster of a track, with pouring percussion, murky bass and a synth line that slowly grows and rises until it all breaks down and annihilates anything in its path. One of my biggest tracks at the moment, this is an instant dance floor slayer and a track that will find its way into the sets of many of the worlds top techno DJs.
The flip features “Amnesia”, a minimal, stark techno grinder that cuts right to the chase and never let up. A lot harder than most previous work by Preach, this is prime time material at its finest. Best EP of the month, by a long shot.
