Next up on Mixmaster Records is a two track release from former Red n Raw Records Head Honcho, Graeme L. This release are his latest works, with releases in the past with various guises such as Montero, Brass Monkey and Midtone.

Up first is a bit of a tough progressive cut in Rimshot. The track features some pretty solid percussive elements as well as a dark and haunting baseline that flow in a pretty steady way throughout. Not a bad track, but it does lack that something extra.

Turn it over and you have Mind Machine which also has a bit of a tough haunting aura to it. Probably the stronger track of the two, the baseline rumbles throughout while a quirky riff kicks in alongside a dark and gritty vocal riff.

Not a bad release here with the b-side providing a pretty good track as opposed to the mostly lackluster a-side.
