- Sick Joke unleashes a two tracker for the next release on the Mixmaster imprint and it certainly packs a punch with some pure peaktime material on the a-side in particular.
Pill Monster is that a-side, and it gets the ball rolling early with some gritty electro synths and some pretty intense drums and hats. The track flows nicely early until it hits a filtered breakdown that then introduces another more melodic synth line that creates the electro mayhem within this production.
This Sound is just as massive with some more hi hat intensity building the track early, but it’s the chunky baselines that drive the track that give it the energy. Some quite sharp twisted stabs come into the production later on, not necessarily for the good, but its not a bad flipside to the already intense release created by the a-side.
