- Next up on Skor Records is a release from Polycubist, aka Jason Kennedy, who originally resided in Mississippi. He delivers a quirky 4 tracker here that oozes with style and originality.
First up Frightened Little Puppy, a track that smoothly flows thanks to some deep dubby baselines, and quirky sharp vocal effects that flow alongside an array of effects and atmosphere.
Him follows, delivering a deep and smooth techy affair thanks to some spaced out effects and again some simply irresistible deep baselines.
Bloody Dub is first up on the flip, delivering the quirkiest track off the EP thanks to some warped melodies, quirky drum patterns and some very tasty b-lines late in the track especially.
Finally the Newer Rasta Mix ends the EP in a upbeat subtle drum and bass production, that bounces thanks to a cute melody and smooth rhythms.
A very nice EP here from the Polycubist, featuring some great baselines throughout as well as a diverse range of tracks.
