French label Babylon records has been the new kid on the block recently with two very strong releases under their belt, the first from Cassino & Laben which saw the Flash brothers taking on a blistering remix and the second from Brahma & Drew Nichols with Mark Venerri aka Madoka working his magic on the re-rub and an exclusive remix that was available from Edm Digital. That's what's come before and now this exciting imprint cranks up the pressure with their third release from two of the most promising producers on today's scene Habersham & Jacob Todd.
Nevermore is a heavy roller with a addictive deep groove from the start which is brought on by a combination of broken beats and swirling emotions that flow underneath the track as we listen . Its taken a little darker still with mystical vocals that start to hypnotize as things shape up on dirtier, dreamier tone.
Greece's Kosmas Epsilon steps up for the re-take and immediately puts his stamp on proceedings in his inimitable style that has gotten people moving. Rumbling basslines and techy percussion tightly hold together a bunch of sparkling melodies which filter gradually while the mood is pulled lower and lower with constant energy. This is pushed further as the pressure is eased off for the break adding a subtle vocal and developing the melodies. Massive sounds from Kosmas Epsilon once more. There's more too as a very special electro house mix from Chris Lake is doing the rounds so keep an ear out for that .
