This is the second installment of Jonathan Lisle OS.0_2 LP Samplers comprising of raw tracks used in the making of the album.
The first track is Habersham Gently shifting people-Relisys Momentary lapse of reason mix .The original was a bit of an animal but Relisys don't hang about in putting a different spin on proceedings. From the onset there's a deep but pensive mood set by a mix of broken beats, rhythmic percussion and bubbling melodies underneath. As we listen further more delayed fx sounds begin to dictate the mood and carve out a darker groove before dropping right back to a single breathy pad and an authoritive but comforting vocal that raises the atmosphere, briefly kicking into a 4/4 beat, then kicks back in fully with all the elements fitting back into place.
Track two is Hawke-Vivos en la Muerte which is a chilled back piece of music with a hard gritty edge from the start . Its chocked full of scratchy cuts, bleeps and squeaks along with live sounding elements that work their way meticulously around a toughened drum rhythm. At every turn the track has a life of its own whether its the haunting vocals or alternating bassline its a piece of music that you can feel inside.
