- The duo of Graham Dunn and Alec Milliner make an appearance on Wallop under their guise of Evergreen Terrace. Girls is their latest work and it features a remix from Karova & Boston George.
The Original Mix is first up and it is a very solid production from the word go building with a subtle guitar riffs and some smooth base ridden drums as well as a high pitched chord giving the track a nice aura. Smooth melodies come into the track as it builds, taking it into the quirky breakdown that is full of filtered vocal effects. Once the beats kick back in, armed with a killer baseline, you know that this track is quite special.
The Karova vs Boston George Remix features the great vibe of the original mix, using the destructive baseline as well as the summer vibes all over a nice upbeat breakbeat drum pattern. It is a nice remix that also features its own imprint with a quirky acid rhapsody late in the production.
Girls Beat Their Drums is last up, and it is a short production featuring a great set of drums patterns as well as the vocal effects. Aimed at the tribal fans out there.
A very tasty release here on Wallop with a track that I’m sure many of you will be hearing in the following months.
