- DJ Ali makes an appearance on Rescue Recordings with a two tracker featuring some smooth vocals and crisp beats.
You And I featuring Lady Precise starts off very smoothly with a nice deep rumbling baseline and chunky drum patterns. The vocals here are more cut up and effected then full on vocal lines, and they work quite well with the smooth vibes of the music but you do feel the vocal hooks are slightly overused and take away from the track after a while.
To The Rescue feat Sherry St Germain for me is a slightly more solid track. It has a great driving baseline but again the vocals are cut up, effected and placed sporadically throughout the record. It’s not a bad production by any stretch but it again suffers from the same virus as the a-side.
