  • What do u get when u cross Hard, Funky, Chunky, Trancy, Electric tunes on a saturday night? Now if i saw that question, id be likely to say, 'Bruce Willis, donned in a sweat band, leg warmers, glow sticks, whilst breakdancing!" (Demi eat your heart out!) but alas, i would be wrong ... for what that simple, yet eclectic collection of music genres equate to are God's Kitchen, with the Deep Dish boys, Baboooska and Galaxy all mixing it up for the masses to swallow. Now i haven't been to Gods Kitchen since i was 14 in the early days of The Sanctuary, but was pleasantly surprised by the following of the crowd, and the different groups of clubbers it attracted. From the Stylish Rascals of the Funky House crew through to the Cyber Bods with their furry boots and glows sticks, God's entertained the followers young and old. Each room provided musical delicacies, as we shimmied through, not wanting to miss a trick! We bounced to the trance, we grooved to the funk and we went wild for the hard! Once we got over the strict door policy (What's with confiscating chewing gum?!?), the usual body searches by the over enthusiastic and manically grinning doorman not to mention the security guards flashing torches in your face, in every darkened corner, we never stopped loving every moment! If you not the biggest fan of hardhouse then i suggest you find another night out unless u don't mind the small dance space in the lounge upstairs, but if your the hardhouse, happyhardcore lover then you'll be as happy as a nun in a cucumber field...no question Id definately be up for going again, as the Deep Dish boys rocked every inch of the club, but personally, i need my dirty funky beats, more than the techno, fashing ensemble that ensued my Saturday night out! Good night had by all, felt the love, danced my tush off and fell asleep still tapping my feet to the beat still running through my head!
