The Sway Boat Party returned to Miami this year with style. Their 3rd annual intimate boat party drew the most fanatic and dance-ready cross-section of the Winter Music Conference. The five hour boat tour off Miami’s Biscayne Blvd featured the best of house talent from east and west coast.
Seattle-based house masters Carlos Mendoza and Peter Christensen of LawnChair Generals was joined by Ken of East Coast Boogiemen. Florida’s own Late Night Society worked the crowd early in the day as well as party organizer and local dj/producer Chad Neiro.
Passengers boarded around 3pm on Sunday afternoon of Conference, fully prepared for a five hour commitment to the finest house beats WMC has to offer. Passengers on the boat included Belgium’s Raoul Belmans of Swirl People and Amenti’s own Olivier Desmet who having cocktails at the bar and supporting their peers in house mastery. House daddies of the tour purveyed the finest of their own tracks laced with some of the hottest freshest tracks they brought on the plane with them exclusively for Winter Music Conference; which is why the week is always so special.
Sway Boat Party had delivered its promise to be one of the most special and unique events at WMC and we look forward having it working the waves next year.
