Solu Music feat. KimBlee - Fade

  • Hed Kandi is expected to deliver at least one summer anthem, and Solu Music’s re-release of Fade feat. KimBlee delivers. To some of us the thought of hearing the same track re-release three years on could make you cringe but listening to the track one more time its easy to see why they have. The seemingly effortless vocals of KimBlee are soothing and extremely catchy, if you don’t already know them. The Original Edit endures simplistic, punchy, house baselines. Although it’s nothing shy of the usual, Fade has a bright and bubbly summer drive that makes it enticing. Despite the original being an effortless summer tune, Eric Kuppers remix is a refreshing and relaxing shift in a good direction. Perfect for a sunny, Sunday social, the rhythm is smooth and the baseline is enough to make you move. Driven by a melodic piano synth streaming through, which gradually encompasses itself into the whole sound, this remix eventuates into a very chilled, slightly dramatic mood. It builds slowly for a nine minute track. however the atmosphere created makes it worth while. The ADNY Remix is sexy, with quirky, dynamic sounds. The odd bongo drum throughout allows the track to still deliver a house feel, but evolve into something more satisfying. The baselines get deeper, as the vocals become more minimal, eventually intensifying into a sensual piece of production. A solid house release from Hed Kandi.
