  • Arriving at the scene around 10:30 to find a late venue swap. The Sublime Arena (Metro’s) compromising of some of Australia’s best club Dj’s Nick Fish, Jumping Jack & Pee Wee Ferris exchanged venues with The Stateside Room (Globe Main Room) featuring Derrick Carter, Halo and Hipp-e. A hot and intense night was in store for all who attended a hugely packed out Metros. With the dance floor full at 11 things were sure to go off with a bang. Derrick Carter turned up the heat with a compilation of fresh Latin house tunes and sure to follow in his footsteps were Halo & Hipp-E. Traveling from venue to venue was a breeze via the frequent running of party buses giving fellow ravers a suitable break and readied them on for what was next on the drawing board. A great idea and appreciated by all who came I’m sure. The Sublime Arena was truly amazing. Nothing not to be expected, clear cut pounding bass, Peewee Ferris dished up a diverse mix of hard-trance and hard house blowing the roof off the main room at Globe. While upstairs in the Boutique Arena Meat Katie overwhelmed the crowd with a selection of his usual break-beat masterpieces. Off to the Old Berlin what was the drum ''n'' bass room. A selection of fine dj’s taking centre stage. Dj Frantik & MK1 creating the atmosphere for the stars of the show, top-notch dark rollers Doc Scott with MC Justyc swinging from rough, uncompromising dance floor gear to deep atmospherics, striking a cool balance and was all the more effective for Scott''s smooth, seamless mixing. A great turnout, a great show, a fantastic event. Sonik 2002, one of Delirium’s finer events. Job well done.
