  • What are you too expect when you've heard worlds of good about what is meant to be one of London's leading club venues and club nights? Well I went there expecting nothing... (trying to free myself from expectation). And was I impressed? Most definitely! The venue itself is amazing, a maze of stairs, hallways, chill out spaces, rooms, bars, dark corners, seating, all you could want in a club, not to mention the two enormous main rooms. With the sound-system is as you would expect, phenomenal. So its Friday, FabricLIVE this week with some of the worlds best breaks and dumb n bass talent taking to the decks, including: The Stanton Warriors, Plump DJs, Joe Ransom, DJ Hype, Fabio, and many more... we went expecting to hear some quality music. We arrived early, as we heard all the rumours about the 2-3 thousand+ capacity club selling out within a few hours of opening... week after week and had no troubles getting in half an hour after it opened… The DnB crowd was definitely the stronger; the huge room was packed before it was even close to midnight and stayed that way throughout the night. I must admit I'm not the biggest of DnB junkies, but I do enjoy the stuff, and unfortunately for my Dnb urges, the extra space in Room 1 (the breaks room) made it much more comfortable. Of course this had nothing to do with the fact that the Stanton Warriors were amazing as they took to the decks at 12:30. It was something of beauty, there was points where the intensity of the sound, atmosphere and build up was just mind numbing... clubbing heaven. After two hours of quality by the Stanton boys it was the Plump DJs turn to take control of room 1. They churned out some great plump-style music and rocked the place till the doors were closed for the night. As a whole it is easy to see why FabricLIVE is without a doubt one of the leading weekly club nights in London, definitely one to be experienced.
