- I will start this Review with a WOW.
I arrived at the Kool Haus at around 11:30. It was amazing how rammed it was this early. Luke Fair opened the evening. I cant establish exactly what his style is.. there's no real definition. John Debo came on and put the crowd to sleep.. as far as I am concerned, Debo shoud have opened for Fair. Must give credit, he played a few good sets and his mixing was good, but didn't see any escalation to where he was going with it.
Around 2 to 2:30 Digweed came on and let me tell you, s**t hit the fan! The crowd went nuts. It was incredible, everyone was loving Digweed. 3 and a 1/2 hours of mind exploding sounds! Digweed was the first of 3 weeks of amazing artists in the Guvernment complex in Toronto. Saturday, December 7th Deep Dish were recording live and this Saturday DJ TIESTO in the Guv with Resident Mark Oliver (www.markoliver.ca).
To conclude, John Digweed is my idol!
