- Danish producers Pashka have been very busy this year releasing some killer tracks such as ‘Life is Hard’ and ‘Island Breeze’. These releases have seen DJ’s such as John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Chris Fortier and Fluke showing big support for these Danish boys, so it is no surprise that this latest release on Insatiable Society is highly anticipated.
From the word go we are launched into a deep and driving territory with (Come on Little Ones) Elektrik Drums. Deep tribal drums give the production shape while a throbbing baseline rumbles throughout, all while eerie vocal patterns trickle in and out of the track and interweave themselves with analogue hooks and sizzling effects. A very seductive track by the Danes.
On the flip is the friendlier Extended Body Parts, which makes good use of a smooth and silky baseline and crisp snares, while the percussion rings wildly around the track. This is a very sexy production, helped by a female speech that smothers the attractive tones of the baseline. One for the ladies as they say.
Well the lads from Denmark have done it yet again, with another set of two solid productions that are varied, but most of all, are set to work magic on the dancefloors of many a club. Some good solid tunage here.
