- Next up on the often impressive Insatiable Society imprint comes a nice release from Lago & Businessman entitled True. A nice moody vocal progressive cut is what we have on offer here, and it features a very solid remix from Pashka on the flip.
The Original Mix is first up, and it has a smooth solid flow from the outset. Nice warm beats combine with the vocal with is quite deep and moody, adding a great aura to this release. Deep baseline rumbles keep the track flowing in a nice peaktime way, but for me the production remains to similar for too long. Thankfully it is a solid production but it is this one flaw that prevents it from being truly memorable.
Now I have always been a bit of a fan of Pashka, and he doesn’t disappoint with his reworking on the flip. A little more quirky and jackin’ on the flip, the track uses a quirky vocal snippet as well as some nice deep baselines and upbeat drums. The track intensifies as it progresses, and the flow is irresistible. Another strong piece of work here from Pashka, and for me, it outshine the Original mix which was quite nice in itself.
A nice release here from Screen Recordings and it is recommended from me that the Pashka remix gets a good look. You are likely to be pleased.
