Kid Massive - Release

  • Kid Massive opens up his new label, soundslike…, with a release from his very own studio in Release. The Original mix tries to create something memorable to open up the label and he certainly does that with a pretty peak time effort. The drums are quite nice and quirky early up, but soon a filtered into leads into some pretty heavy drum patterns, which is soon accompanied by a deep driving baseline. From here on the track is a pretty peak time house that certainly doesn’t lack a dull moment. Kid Massive’s Chunky Edit is on the flip and again he does a pretty good job in mixing it up. The baseline has more bounce to it, and doesn’t roll and drive like the a-side did. The effects are cut up and the drums are a little more straightforward. It certainly is a nice addition to the a-side creating a very good first release for the label.
