- Existence records see's a second release from Monodrive featuring Beca on vocals which also gets the once over from young Dutch producer Cor Marjis aka Marris.
The Original mix of Premonition has a dreamy kind of motion from the start with the use of stabby chords,subtle bassline along with hypnotic delayed sounds that add a bit of depth to it . A female vocal is introduced and lifts it slightly as the continuous dark atmosphere is shifted down a notch for not quite a break but an easing off of the energetic pace.
The Marris remix is much in the same mould as the original yet events have a smoother interchange,playing a little more with the vocal and beefing up the percussive roll while underneath what sounds like a sneaky sample of Bart Van Wissens Illuminate re-enforces the groove . Its a much tighter mix overall.
Its a nice release from Existence with each track having relaxing, feel good quality but could have done with differing mixes.
