- The debut release by Kid Massive on Sounds Like Recordings receives a remix disc that unleashes two remixes of the very funky Release.
The Beatchuggers Release the Horn Mix is first up, and it delivers a very smooth upbeat house production, full of energetic drums, an uplifting horn and a very smooth a full bassline that keeps the track rolling along smoothly.
On the flip, Raoul’s Tech Dub is not as uplifting as the a-side, but for me it is the better of the two mixes. The bassline is very tasty, keeping the track flowing very nicely. There are some very subtle melodies and sounds that give the track a nice feel without going over the top, and on the whole, the production is smooth and very tasteful. Great stuff, and the highlight of the release for me.
