Hooj Classics - Disc Four (Trancesetters / Lustral)

  • For the 4th Hooj Classic repress, we have a tribal scorcher with a Trance anthem, both abused and tested by the big name DJ's worldwide. On the A-side, Peace Division provide a remix of Trancesetters' "Roaches". Played by almost all big name progressive DJ's, it was far from 'Underground', despite what the vocal sample proclaimed. Typical dark and sinister beats with a pulsating base and stabbing effects made this a very big room record. The track featured on Sasha & Digweed's 'Communicate' release, and was a major stepping stone for success for the Peace Division lads. Equally as massive, the flip features the Nalin & Kane mix of "Everytime" by Lustral. An Oakenfold and Fontaine fave to name a few, the record featured on Oakey's New York Global Underground release. A conga line drum pattern amongst sweeping strings, and of course, those vocals. The reverberating piano line takes the mood a little further, deep into the track. A classic i'm sure many are aware off. Both these records have been heavily used by DJ's worldwide, but as always with a sign of a classic, they still sound fresh as the day they were made.
