  • Platipus producer Patrick Brogden (aka POB) has collaborated with Florida DJ Boyd Westerman to create the masterpiece that is Luna. The original mix is typically Platipus sounding, kicking off with a crunchy acid tinged bassline, organic sounding synth riffs and minimal murmuring from Louise De Fraine. The track builds and then drops out, and a stronger 303 line demands attention, and at this point the track really picks up and begins to drive. Pure progressive bliss, which gives you warm fuzzies! This mix is best suited for the warm up crew. The Rouge mix on the flip is a percussive minimal corker, with tribal drums and a almost speed garage esque bassline. It drops out with an ocean wave washout, interweaved with 303 lines, then slamming back into it with a pumping bassline, and minimal vocal licks. This mix kicks ass, and is my preference of the two. Platipus fans know what to expect and new comers should be impressed.
