Everyone has their favorite club. And everyone wants to tell you about it. We here at RA towers love the discussion as well. Whether it be debating the best club nights, the best vibe, the coolest space or simply the best overall club, we take this stuff pretty seriously. (Those "favourite clubs" in our profiles change from hour to hour.)
That's why when we sat down to think about doing our first annual Club Awards, we thought long and hard about how to best represent what clubland has to offer. What goes into making a club great? The music, obviously. But also the design. And, of course, the vibe. There's even a couple clubs out there who do all of it right.
But when it comes to clubbing, everyone has an opinion. That's why we're putting you, the RA readership, in charge of our Club Awards. There are four categories up for grabs: Best Club, Best Design/Layout, Best Atmosphere, Best Music/Programming. In each category, you can vote for up to five clubs. If you’d just like to vote for one or two favourites, that’s fine, too.
There are two ways to vote. You can select clubs from Your Favourites in the drop down lists below. Alernatively if a club you want to vote for is not in the list, just click the 'Enter a club name' text. Type part of the club name and as you enter, you'll be given a selection of matching clubs from the RA club directory and it's ready for your vote. Magic huh? Once you're done, hit one of the submit buttons to record your vote.
