Body therapy, mind reset, animal protection and life celebration.
We have a choice.
To progress towards a civilisation which does not unconsciously perpetuate or aggravate inequality and poverty, destroy nature and the animal kingdom, humans need to accept their many differences.
To build more compassion, we need to get out of uniform consumption and engage in proximity. Celebrate diversity, equitability and form new habits and actions.
Getting rid of a slice of modern comfort is inevitably required to reach compassion. But peace through diversity is no prophet’s fantasy. It is no harder to imagine than the magical fact that we are alive right now.
Curious Paul believes that dancing and singing are some of the most potent forms of therapy. He has been witness to the wildest fauna and flora the great nocturnal jungle has to offer.
The eternal act of dancing is one of the most active form of contemplation. Facing our own selves in the mirror of movement, we realise that we indeed are reflections of one another at all times. What will our own words, actions and thoughts feed around us?
His biggest concern isn’t so much that human beings aren’t able to sort out a sustainable environment for themselves in a timely fashion, but more so that we are destroying the animal kingdom (or rather slavedom) completely obliviously.
While Curious Paul’s mind floats in the air with his body rotating behind the turntables, his feet are steadily rooted in reality, enabling his musical knowledge to unfold beyond the night.
Through his own record label, Possible Futures, he shares his therapeutic musical blends and invites his favorite artists and influences to Berlin for his bi-monthly Aquarian Shift dance session at the excellent club OHM.
