Eric Hinchman, born in Detroit, Michigan, was inspired by the creative process during his youth spending time with his grandmother who played piano for her local church. He found himself banging away at the keys trying to form melodies. Students were required to take vocal lessons and learn an instrument during elementary school years, Eric chose the Cornet. An ear for electronic dance music developed as a child attempting to break dance while listening to The Electrifying Mojo and The Wizard with the rest of the kids in the neighborhood. Teenage years introduced to him to punk rock bands like Operation Ivy, Fugazi and the Dead Kennedys.
