Born in the city of Cúcuta, Colombia. This DJ and producer based in Bogotá has grown up with the emerging capital scene since 2014.
After leaving his Latin-funk band "Motilovers" where he played the bass, he takes his own path towards production and exploration of new sounds but always keeping prominence on the dance floor.
Leonardo Leal created his project "Mëth" while he watched Vince Gilligan's television series, Breaking Bad. The dichotomy of the main character makes Leonardo see his life in perspective and feel the need to create music as catharsis against the lethargy of his entry into adulthood.
At that time it was just about exploring and giving a name to what he did when he chose music at his friends' parties. With the passing of the months and with the result of its first productions, the project began to take shape to go towards in the search for a sound of its own that would emerge from the pigeonholing of purist genres and not be heard as something prefabricated.
