Music gods made sure Salva Ballesteros and Eric Benito crossed paths and when they did in 2011, these two DJ’s from Málaga, formed Microluxe.
Microluxe combines the best of Eric and Salva. They began playing around in the studio for kicks, but the chemistry between the two DJs was hard to ignore. This chemistry translates both in the studio and out on the dancefloor, with sets full of energy and dynamics, you’re sure to have a damn good time.
As producers, they are versatile, in each track they look for melodic sounds, harmony and that unique groove that connects with the energy of the crowd.
Both Eric and Salva are resident DJs at one of the hottest and most popular clubs in the South of Spain, Lömbok Klüb. They’ve traveled and hosted numerous parties at the coolest clubs all along the Mediterranean where they’ve shared the stage with artists like Audiofly, Martin Buttrich, Hector Couto, Los Suruba, Guti, Miguel Puente and many more. Lately we can find them at Latencia, a brand new record label they’ve created along with Guillermo Gárate and Miguel Payda, Djing and having fun at their label themed gigs.
Their first EP in their own label, “Leave it Forever” feat singer Ernesto Lisabetta, had a great reception and reached TOP 10 in Beatport’s Deep House Best-selling Releases Chart, getting exciting feedbacks from big artists like Quentin Harris, Ashley Beedle (X-Press 2), Slam, Dubfire, Luciano, Los Suruba, Oscar de Rivera, Dayne S., Dr. Dru, The Mekanism and James Silk amongst others.
Microluxe’s monthly podcast has topped the iTunes charts, landing at the second most downloaded podcast, having more than 5.000 downloads every month. So stay tuned for updates on upcoming releases, podcasts and gigs for this up and coming DJ duo.
