Nigel started playing Hard House in his early teens with fellow DJ and Producer Anthony Brooks after being addicted to the bouncy sound of Hard House along with many others, any opportunity he could get to be on the decks he would be there for hours and did so for years.
In 2007 after changing music genres from Hard House to Funky House and Electro, Nigel found himself a residency in his home town, Coventry. He then hooked up with the "Panache" brand and landed a residency touring all over the UK. He turned his hand to producing with his close friend of 20 years, DJ and Producer Anthony Brooks and produced his first track, a remix of "Technotronics Pump up the jam” which received massive support.
2008 was a big year for Nigel, with a new residency for Plush Puppies Brand and bookings for London and Birmingham things were heating up for Nigel with more gigs and new tunes being released on the horizon. Having played at Blue Lagoon, Praha, Liquid Lounge and Sub Zero, Nigel went into 2009 with a strong portfolio of performances under his belt. It was in 2009 that Nigel had a signing to Diffused Music with “We feel the same” (remix). Since then, Nigel has signed tracks to BCB Tec, Stylus and LMP Recordings. While producing he also performed at Oceana (Nottingham), The Warehouse (Coventry), Vertu (Birmingham) and The Orange Corner (Ibiza). He was resident for The Dirty Saints Bank Holiday parties and received regular bookings at Oscars Bar (Stratford) and Oliver’s (Tamworth). Nigel wrapped up 2009 and with a Bang as his track “Response” was signed to Baroque Records and is featured on the compilation album (Exploring UK) available on Beatport.
2010 has started off strong as Nigel is doing remix work for several Labels and Artists and has a growing portfolio of records ready for release. Nigel signed to Plastik Philosophy in April 2010 and the track Flava produced alongside Ant Brooks, released on BCBTEC is presently featured in Beatport's must hear house tunes week 23 as number 1.
