JEN LUSKER (Less)
With a collegiate background in electrical engineering, Jen Lusker brings a diverse blend of experience to her DJing. Born to a military family in Seoul, Korea, this NYC based DJ and producer grew up living in many countries abroad, taking in all things audible from a young age. While living in Germany, she was first drawn to electronic music where techno giants Cari Lekebusch, Plastikman, and Jeff Mills were just some of the first artists which would inspire her to begin DJing. Immediate recognition for her natural talent to move people on the dancefloor led to her first DJ performances at the infamous Freebass Society raves in New Orleans in the late 90’s. These parties first gave Jen the opportunity to share her love for electronic music, which found her playing alongside several of her own underground house and techno music heroes. Over the years, she has since played at clubs both across the US and internationally. In the fall of 2004, Jen Lusker moved to New York City as a base to further express her passion for music as a creative outlet. She has held several residencies and performed at venues which have included Crobar, Pacha, Spirit, Sullivan Room, and Bar13 just to name a few. As the newest resident member of LESS (alongside Eddie Krilov, Igal and Vadim), Jen has recently committed to production time in the studio as a means to fully express her unique take on sound which has developed throughout the years.
