Round 1! SHAKE IT!!!
From two originators of infamous crews Tampered (SYD) and Beat-Off (ACT) comes ‘Shake That Monkey.’ A new night dedicated to those who seek the freshest in new and old school beats whilst being able to shake what their mumma gave ‘em without worrying about music policies or being “seen.”
The first night will see regulars Typhonic and G-Mo joined by Kate Doherty and Raine Supreme.
Kate Doherty is one of the most highly praised DJs in the underground scene. Well known for her energy behind the decks there are few who come close to her skills in the mix. Expect the unexpected on the night as Kate’s given the freedom to make the party bounce.
From video DJ to producer to party rocker on the decks, Raine Supreme is a name you’ll be hearing more from in the future. With a taste for anything interestingly noisy he’ll be rocking a set covering a wide range of bass.
Typhonic is working hard to push the sound of Ghetto Tech around the country being the first Australian to be released on legendary Detroit label Databass. Keep an ear out for a tonne of fresh new tracks.
One of the original founders of the Sydney Ghetto House movement is back from a long break and hungrier then ever to make booty's shake. G-Mo is back and ruder then ever!
