KONRAD BLACK has been involved in DJing, producing and performing music for the past ten years. A constant throughout his career is the signature mix of dirty bass threads with atmospheric sounds, emerging from his roots in drum’n’bass and hip hop. After his first release on Formation Records in the UK, influences such as Maurizio and Klang inspired more minimal sounds, and in 1998, a meeting with Swayzak in Vancouver led to ‘Greycale’ for Slow Building in 1999. Konrad recorded the track ‘White Cigarettes’ for Swayzak’s 240 Volts Compilation released that year. Concurrently Konrad worked with March 21st of Circlesquare on the ‘Headgear Project’, releasing ‘Believers Goodbye’. This project culminated in collaboration with Swayzak for the track ‘In the Car Crash’ on the seminal album ‘Dirty Dancing’, released in 2002. From there he went on to work on Circlesquare’s album ‘Pre-Earthquake Anthems’ for London based Output Recordings. Likewise, Headgear's final joint production then was the Unkle remix of ‘In a State’. In 2004 Konrad then formed Wagon Repair Recordings with Mathew Jonson, Graham Boothby and Jesse Fisk. He continued his wide panorama of sound on his first release on the label: ‘Draconia’, which enjoyed critical success internationally, followed by club hit 'Medusa Smile', both top ranked in playlists of opinion leaders like Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Steve Bug, Loco Dice or Tiga.
STIMMING,Martin Stimming was born in Giessen, Germany.Playing various instruments like violin, piano and drums when he was 10 years, discovering electronic music 5 years after. DJ Krush and Grooverider provided his introduction into this new electronic sound dimension. About a year later he came upon techno. At this time he was living in Butzbach, a small town near Frankfurt – influenced very much from Chris Liebing and Sven Vaeth, starting to djing and buying vinyl. He soon realized that for him making music was more fullfilling than 'just' playing a groove, or mixing a record, so he started to take his production seriously and moved to Hamburg to attend SAE (School of Audio Engineering). Music had become the most important thing in his life. For 2 years, he was the producer part of the Gebrueder Ton, and in this time he befriended Diynamic (a record label from Solomun and Adriano). Stimming's debut on Diynamic was Diynamic 006 Feuervogel EP, which he produces together with Solomun. The Diynamic 008 was his first solo artist vinyl.
SIAN, Not many modern electronic producers can say they know as much about the architecture and social structure of a beehive as the chord structure of their own music, but then again, not many trail-blazers have quickly developed such an oeuvre of work to have gathered the attention of labels like Dubfires Sci&Tec, Soma recordings, Paul Woolfords Intimacy, Pokerflat and Bedrock in such a short space of time either. Now regarded as one of the most promising upcoming acts in the techno scene today, Sian has already been reworked and remixed by talent like Gui Boratto,Steve Bug,Efdemin,Minilogue and Pan-Pot and still so early on in his career,has toured half the world.Rocking heaving crowds and bringing his trademark experimental DJing style to the masses via multiple outputs of explosive techno,fx and loops cut up and edited live.His tracks instantly caught the ear of everyone from Sasha,John Digweed,Carl Cox to Luciano,Richie Hawtin,Ricardo,Loco Dice or Steve Bug and have shown how a genre busting talent crosses over stylistic boundaries.With appearances on very select labels,his unusual DJing approach and acclaimed work on his own new techno imprint,Octopus,he is fast becoming recognized by peer and press alike as one to watch, the DJing performances at international contemporary clubs and festivals in Europe,including dates in uSA,Canada,Eastern Europe,South America,Australia and beyond and Memorable nights at pioneering clubs like Berghain,Secretsundaze,
SOLOMUN. When it comes to Solomun however, it’s bang on the mark and has no negative implications for artistic quality. The Hamburg-based, Bosnian-born Croatian has played a major role in redefining European house music in recent years via productions, remixes and DJing which take the very building blocks of house and deftly reconstruct them with a decidedly modern twist. This contribution to house is partly drawn from a hefty touring schedule gracing the worlds finest clubs alongside an impeccable string of tracks and remixes for the likes of Buzzin Fly, Freerange, Get Physical, Phil E, Mobilee, Dessous, Compost, Four:Twenty and his own Diynamic imprint but it doesn’t stop there…. This talent is pretty unquestionable, too. From the army of high profile fans like Steve Bug, Loco Dice and Ricardo Villalobos through to the critically acclaimed 2009 debut LP,“Dance Baby”, which saw the likes of Mixmag, Electronic Beats and even itunes list in their top albums of the year, the responses to Solomun material are unusually unanimous. FUNK D'VOID, is a DJ and producer who has been at the forefront of the global electronic music scene since the mid-90s. He started Djing at around the tender age of 15, running two under-18 clubs himself – a perfect start to his career. Knowing his vocation to music from an early age after being brought up by his professional pianist mother, Lars never had any doubt as to where his future would lie.
House music changed his life, the early Chicago sound specifically, and hearing the certain sounds during his childhood stirred something inside him; the 808 drum machine used on Marvin Gaye's “Sexual Healing” secured his fascination with these electronic sounds – the turning point over to the Detroit techno sound was almost a spiritual moment as it forged his unique sound that would follow over the coming years – visceral, soulful and without compromise.

H.O.S.H is part of the Motion 040 duo from Hamburg. He has previously released on Wizkidz, Paloma Recordings, Force Sense and Get Physical Music. As H.O.S.H. he spinning the wheels now for 10 years and producing electronic music for about 4 years. He is one of the present popular personalities in Hamburg club culture. He loves long sets with minimal flow on one hand and high emotional content on the other. This also represents his style of producing. His releases appears on Oliver Koletzki´s Label Stil vor Talent and on Diynamic Music.
Besides producing he is also involved in Hamburgs beloved open air party series "Gruenanlage
AXEL BARTSCH, It’s a long road that leads from the purchase of your first single in mid-70s to establishing yourself as a respected solo artist with gigs all over the world today. The fresh application of time and energy landed him one side of the now classic Speicher 26, released on Kompakt’s prestigious Extra offshoot.‘Galaxy’, was a growling, bass-driven bomb and deservedly became an international smash, setting dancefloors alight. “I’d not had previous contact with the Kompakt guys,” Axel says, “But after all I’d read and heard, I got the feeling we had a lot in common, and that they’d like what I was doing…” And like it they did, commissioning another mighty Speicher production (‘Was Bleibt Ist Die Musik’) and acting as distributor for the newly minted Sportclub label, which Axel founded together with Franco Zeiger in late 2005.
Also playing will be Warehoused Resident Lokesh's who has been in the barcelona underground circuit for 6 years now with his consistent minitek sets to keep you all at bay, Macarena (BCN) local resident Dusty with his minimal vibes and quality flowing sets, Wesley Blake Manchester (UK) will also be warming up with some Deep and dark sounds of House and Techno and . This is a great way to start off sonar week one not too be missed!!!
