Mr. Noisy & Bitr8
This Friday it’s all about the Kick/Snare as we welcome one of our favourite dubstep DJ/producers and one of the original dubstep pioneers Caspa alongside MC Rod Azlan.
After his explosive debut album, The Guardian suggested that Gary McCann, alias Caspa, was something like the Guy Ritchie of dubstep. Leaving comparisons to one side, the truth is that this west London producer, whose name is one of the most oft-repeated on the scene by far, has created a sound that is directly related with British street energy and culture - from clubbing to cockney.
The trademark hyper-elastic bass lines lay the foundations for an intoxicating style, which makes no bones about going straight for your gut, and is winning over new fans all the time.
With MC Rod Azlan, Caspa is the first dubstep artist to make the leap onto the mainstream playing the main high profile festivals including Sónar, Glastonbury, Global Gathering, The Big Chill and Glade. Earlier this year saw him embark on a US tour whilst still taking on countless club shows across Europe including a residency at Fabric.
Prepare to bounce as we bring you a night of heavy bass!
