A grassroots emergent talent from San Diego, Paul Najera has been cultivating his sound between the US and Mexico borders and has captivated audiences locally, nationally and internationally, aurally displaying his special blend of latin-influenced, tribal, minimal, sexy, tech and jackin' house music. His keen ear and passionate thirst for new music keeps him at the forefront of the DJ and production craft as he continues to garner the recognition and attention he once only dreamed of. His 'Late Night Jackin'' mixed compilation series has been one of his most downloaded DJ sets and has been well received by house heads and clubbers alike.
An accomplished opening act, headliner and extended set DJ, Paul Najera is no stranger to the heavy weights of the industry playing along side the likes of Josh Wink, Audiojack, Lee Burridge, Alex Peace, Audiofly, Green Velvet, Sander Kleinenberg, Hernan Cattaneo, M.A.N.D.Y, Thee-O, Mark Farina, to name a few. Recent sets played out in Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Cabo San Lucas, Baja California, Tijuana, Honduras on top of his consistent bookings in his hometown of sunny San Diego, California ensure Paul Najera's popularity and alliances to grow.
Currently, Paul Najera is a resident artist for event production company 4theDJ (www.4thedj.net) who is best known for bringing some of the most respected names in the industry to the San Diego area. He is also an artist for the Los Angeles based techno + house brand Viva La Tech (www.vivalatech.com). Aside from his busy gigging schedule Paul has been dedicating countless hours working on his own music productions in the studio having several unreleased original tracks and exclusive edits in his arsenal as well as releases out on Beatport.com.
