The Large, Why Delila, Illanja, Booty Beast, Kazabon and Hootie Who
HDD is a night that celebrates the strong carribean influence through all types of music such as house, hip hop and dancehall.
This month we welcome 3 new resident djs to our monthly residency at the CAMP which tends to be sweaty, fun filled madness with people wanting more when its over.
The Large (Shimmy Shimmy) is one of the most important figures in the london dancehall scene. She runs her own night, blog, fanzine and tee shirts as well as playing some of the bashiest bashment this side of the carribean.
Why Delila (Physically FIt) runs her own night at the Big Chill Bar which time out described as :"New block party sista on the scene, Siobhan Jones, works up a dancehall/bashment/soca/ Sean Paul-fuelled sweat". Needless to say but we are excited that she is joining the team.
Illanja: Founder of Dublin's incredibly popular night A$$quake who had Tittsworth, Toddla T, Mumdance, Martello and DJ Godfather as guests. From funky, broken beat, garage and bass, Professor Illanja (he really is one) plays it all.
We also have residents Booty Beast, Kazabon and Hootie Who (HDD DJ's winner of IDJ MAG RAW TALENT award) playing sun tinged carribbean inspired hip hop, dancehall and tropical.
From Sean Paul to Ciara to Lil Silva to Burgaboy.
