The 15th April finds one of Busta Groove’s most exciting bookings to date arrive in Nottingham. All the way from Leipzig, Germany, Kassem Mosse (aka Gunnar Wendel) brings with him his very own take on electronic music. His forward thinking style and uncompromising attitude towards breaking the norm has lead him to become one of the most talked about artists of the last couple of years. Releases on labels such as FXHE, Laid, Mirkodisco, Spectral Sound, Kinda Soul, Metalheadz and NonPlus+ highlight his flexibility as a producer. An amalgamation of various electronic styles, including Electro, Deep House and Techno, his sound is bass heavy and raw, being compared to anything from Theo Parrish, Andy Stott, Basic Channel, Nightmares on Wax and “Surgeon played at the wrong speed” (boomkat.com).
Joining Busta Groove resident Nick Lawson on the night will be a couple of residents of two of the city's hottest parties. Micawber of Zleep @ Stealth and Chris Matthews of the Disconnected warehouse parties bring the noise.
