Louche with Seth Troxler photo gallery
Seth Troxler needs no introduction, but he's gonna get one anyway.
It was back in October 2007 when a fresh faced Louche team booked an even fresher faced Seth Troxler. Eighteen years old, Seth was visiting England for the first time, yet at such a young age he showed incredible talent, charisma and potential. Fast forward to 2011 ad Seth sits at number 3 in RA's DJ chart, owns one of the hottest labels going and is widely renowned as one of the biggest and brightest personalities in dance music.
Growing up in Detroit, but living in Berlin for the last five years there isn't much that Seth hasn't already achieved. He's released on imprints such as Spectral Sound, Wolf + Lamb and Circus Company, and has played at most of the worlds best clubs and festivals. He records vocals in the studio (for artists such as Art Department no less), promotes an annual afterparty at the Detroit Music Festival, he is even heading a fundraising campaign for Japanese earthquake sufferers.
Yet whilst doing all this Seth still has the same sense of fun and passion towards electronic music that he has had since the days when he was a promoter, putting on basement parties back home in Motown. The infamous get-togethers, the Tesh Club, were thrown with his best pals Shaun Reeves, Ryan Crosson and Lee Curtiss, and the foursome have been working together ever since.
Their latest project 'Visionquest' has literally taken the world by storm, both as a performance outfit (remember Louche's third birthday?) and as a record label. Pushing a different kind of 4/4 music, Visionquest's take on house music is ambient, folky and euphoric. Their first two releases, by Benoit & Sergio and Footprints respectively were both huge hits on the global market, and were both interestingly unique EPs.
This will be Seth's fourth appearance at Louche, and we can't wait to have him back for a 4 hour extended set.
