Cavo Paradiso, the afterparty only venue turned world-renowned club is largely known for a gloriously diverse seasonal event schedule, with everyone from Sander Van Doorn to Ricardo Vilallobos playing to the masses that visit the beautiful island of Mykonos every year.
2011 marks the year that Cavo Paradiso won its highest position to date in this year’s Top 100 Clubs poll coming in at an impressive number 10. Cavo Paradiso justifies its high place on the Top 100 Clubs list with its history, and future promise, of providing an unforgettable experience for the thousands upon thousands of international clubbers.
The clubs prestigious album series, now in its eleventh year, has seen guest artists such as Matthias Tanzmann, Satoshi Tomiie, Argy, Luca Bacchetti and more responsible for mixing the annual compilation. 2011 is handed over to underground pioneer, Davide Squillace who has mixed the innovatively designed album aptly named ‘Reconstructions’ to honour the clubs newly renovated state which includes a new and incredibly aesthetically pleasing roof appropriately complimented by a first-rate soundsystem.
Guest artists will experience a brand new state of the art DJ booth specifically designed to take on the most demanding of set-ups and artist's technical riders. To top it all off, Cavo Paradiso has upgraded its lighting and visual installation using the latest technologies, giving visitors a visual dancefloor experience as well as a sonic journey - and it is this, the experience, that Cavo Paradiso and its makers and creators live for.
The 2011 summer event schedule stands as the strongest in the clubs 17 year history. With exciting new residencies to add to the impressive list of guest artists and the return of legends such as Erick Morillo and debut appearances by Roger Sanchez. A carefully thought out and tailored season line-up brings a collection of world-renowned artists who are due to carve a piece of their own history in the club’s rock foundations, and celebrate a new age of Cavo Paradiso.
