1 Fish 2 Fish
There are some weird rituals undertaken around the world to celebrate Easter. In Sweden, little girls dress up as witches and trick or treat whilst in Czechoslovakia it’s good luck to beat your wife or woman you fancy with a braided whip known as Apomlazka, and Polish people make a look-a-like lamb out of butter and display it on the dinner table to eat. In France they presumably ask Kitsune Records to release some new bangers for the Easter season and recently that has meant Inspector Clouseau calling on exciting duo, and Guernica’s special international guest for Easter Thursday, Beataucue, to write something the whole family can dance to. After a string of solid EP’s and last years corker of a mini-album in Falcon Punch, Beataucue have found supportive fans in Skrillex, Boys Noize, Steve Aoki, Diplo and Crookers. Swing in for this zombie shuffle of a resurrection with $2 pots between 10pm till midnight and this special international act on Thursday April 5th. Entry is $20 on door, $15 on list. Don’t miss!
