ADDISON GROOVE (50 Weapons/Swamp81/Tectonic)
Antony Williams aka Mr Addison Groove is no stranger to smashing clubs and arenas to pieces. He first found footing as dubstep heavyweight Headhunter. Numerous releases on labels like Tempa and Tectonic lead him to working with some massive artists like Luke Envoy and Kryptic Minds to name just two.
A few years on and dubstep had started to present boundaries for the incredibly talented Bristolian. Around that time he began to discover more and more of America's underground Ghettotek, Juke and Baltimore scenes. His new found passion for this approach to production led him to create his own take on this sound and his first track in this vein, the massive 'Footcrab' (later remixed by Rashad and Spinn) swept across Britain's club scene to critical acclaim, rocketing him into the musical stratosphere and making him one of the most important and interesting artists in UK dance music. Since then, He has toured the globe, playing to some of the biggest crowds dance music can draw, turning heads with his unique and impeccable track selection. He has released so many absolute bangers as of late we don’t even know which ones to mention with tracks coming out on Martyn's 3024, Pinch's Tectonic, Loefah's Swamp81 and Modeselektor's gargantuan 50 Weapons releasing his ground breaking 'Transistor Rhythm'.
This is one of the most pivotal acts in the world right now and don't sleep!
DJ RUM (2nd Drop/Yardcore)
Felix Manuel AKA Dj Rum has been one of the firm fixtures of Sub FM's long standing 'Yardcore' show. He's crafted one of the most acclaimed e.p's in Bass music, the brilliant 'Mountains' on 2nd Drop and he's also responsible for creating the 'A soundtrack to an imaginary film' mix which was showcased on Mary Ann Hobbs' XFM show, gaining huge support and being championed as one of the mixes of the year.
RA: "What marks out Felix Manuel from the hundreds of other UK bass producers that have emerged in the last few years? At the very least we can say with some certainty that few have created an EP as good as Mountains"
