Kevin Saunderson (The Elevator/Detroit):
As the legend goes, Kevin Saunderson moved to the Belleville suburb of Detroit at the age of nine where he attended High School with contemporaries Derrick May and juan Atkins. These three would eventually become known as the originators of techno. Decades later, Mr. Saunderson is still at the height of electronic music taste making. He’s written several chart topping albums with Inner City, curated his record label KMS, and worked under a number of names including E-dancer and The Elevator. This December we’ll just be catching Kevin in an intimate setting after closing out big name gigs throughout 2012 like Pacha Ibiza’s closing event and Movement Detroit.
