After quite a break Hat-Club return to Cargo on December 22nd, we cannot wait to get back and rock this superb venue again… all of our parties at Cargo have been something special, and we know our Christmas party will be another one to add to our list of top events
It was just over 12 months ago Leisuregroove & Rustem Rustem decided to get together and start a new sound with a new look, and Electronic Youth was born. With their idea of 80's influence, deep base lines and tuff beats along with urban vocals these guys have been unstoppable. Their first ever EP signed to Sander Kleinenberg's label THIS IS recs, then New York label System recordings putting out there classic 'Life On Mars EP'. From there they re-launched the label 'Sexy Trash Digital' armed with massive EP's from themselves and new artist like Subk0de, 2 Good Souls and forthcoming artist Sebastian Klone, and the ever supporting label Maquina which has had a host of their biggest tracks and remixes.
In the meantime they've done remixes for MYNC, DJ Chus, got a single forthcoming on CR2 Recs, Been on countless compilations albums, worked with UK soul legend Kele Le Roc (Basement Jaxx) and still have time to DJ. They've also release a FREE music download series, where they give away tracks. The first in the Series was a track they did with Kele Le Roc, then there ever growing remake of the classic track Kariya 'Let me Love You For Tonight' and also the track that put them on the map and made them a club house name their take on Angie Stone's r&b anthem 'I WISH'. They have had support from people like Jamie Jones, Maceo Plex, Claude Von Stroke, Luca C, Mark Knight and many more…
