/// Special Guests
Equal parts sound art and pop music, Solar Year emerged from the same creative community as Grimes, D'Eon and Tonstartssbandht-somewhere among gallery installations and late night loft parties. They use electronics and live resampling, creating otherworldly soundscapes- hazy atmospheres that float between Nordic electro-pop, serene New Age reverie, and the liturgy of medieval monks.
Prism House is a Brooklyn-based duo striving to push the boundaries in a digital age. The group is not merely an electronic musical outfit, but rather a couple guys trying to create unique projects in a variety of mediums.
Wildarms is an electronic producer from New York who paints from a palette of breakbeats, nature samples and major key chord progressions. His material is woven with a sense of optimism, drawing references to both underground lounge parties and commercial hip-hop. Wildarms is Duncan Cooper, who also serves as associate editor at The Fader.
