Gabriel Stargardter (Pueblo)
L'estasi Dell'oro (Voodoo Down Records)
12 x 12 (Voodoo Down Records)
This is it people: Pueblo's Second Birthday. From our inauspicious beginnings at a grimy alpine bar in Wedding, to the sweaty Italian double-header that was our Loftus Hall debut with Discodromo and Mr Ties, to our even sweatier summer shindig with Move D, and finally our most recent hootenanny with Canadian goofballs Gingy & Bordello and Belgian force of nature Locked Groove (not to mention the various one-offs at SK Robinson, Miss Tipsy Champagneria and, confusingly, a Russian members-only club in West London), it's been pretty fucking killer / hilarious so far, and it would have been nothing without you, the people that for whatever reason find our hijinks amusing. On March the twenty-third of our lord's year two-thousand and thirteen, we invite you to celebrate this milestone with us the only way we know how: an eleven-hour party at the most glamorous discothèque in Berlin and the world, Loftus Hall.
In the spirit of the occasion, we're keeping this one mostly in the family. Gabriel Stargardter, an obnoxious British journalist who co-founded Pueblo in 2010 with Berlin party impresario Tommy Tannock, will be our guest of honor. All the way from Brooklyn, we've also invited 12 X 12 and L'estasi Dell'oro (AKA Penalune), two Brooklyn techno artists behind Voodoo Down Records, a label that's made a name for itself with releases by STL, Anton Zap, October and Joey Anderson. Then of course are the core residents: Will Lynch, Sarj, and a gentleman who on this evening will be referred to only as The Night Manager.
Entrance will be 5 euro. Party starts at 11 PM. Come and be a part of history.
