Asthma Maroof and Daniel Pineda of Nguzunguzu have been high on our to do list for quite some time.
Their mixtape pedigree is frankly outstanding; they hit our radar in 2010 with their epic Moments In Love mixtape and followed up with brilliant mixes for FACT in 2012 and their label Fade To Mind in 2013, not to mention the innovative Perfect Lullaby Vol 1 (2011) and 2 (earlier this year) for DIS magazine.
Their production efforts have been equally enthralling, delving purposefully into any and all aspects of the bass music spectrum that takes their fancy in a manner which is heavily experimental but squarely aimed at the dancefloor, culminating in 2013's Skycell, an EP built from air bursts, glimmering chimes, sunken bass, metallic scrapes, and industrial crashes.
They are supported on stage by Ransom, David Space, Flip3k and Get Bu$y plus a TLS cage lineup with Booshank, Arks, Paz, Lewis Cancut, Moonshine and Monty McGaw. Free before 11pm, $25 later.
