Partner’s in crime Neil Thornton and Johnny Hiller have been pushing the broad spectrum disco music in the capital for quite a while now and are seen as the driving forces behind the scene. They embrace on anything from cosmic, deep disco, funky rock, balearic to a more electronic, modern and deep house inspired sounds. The boys can be seen behind the decks at some of London's cooler venues including Fabric(where they host the Third Room at least 3 times a year),Platinum, Sosho, Big Chill House alongside the underground warehouse parties they love putting on.Neil & Johnny have also very busy bringing their disco to parties including Faith/ Secretsundaze, Late Night Audio, Milky Disco, playing @ the Vogue Magazines 90th Birthday after party When not rocking a disco in the capital they can be found playing overseas including Nouveau Casino (Paris) and Tape Club and Cookies (Berlin), Salty's crazy disco parties in Croatia alongside annual stints in Japan. Most contemporaries of the scene have played at their parties and their spirit as a duo has been compared to what the Glimmers or Rub and Tug have achieve with the energy and passion they create. Over the last few years the boys have bought some great guest to join the fun including Daniel Wang, Losoul, Prins Thomas, Lindstrom, Chromatics, Andrew Weatherall, Trevor Jackson, Tim Sweeney, Ame, Melon, Steffi Jay Shepheard, Mark Seven, Dennis Kane (N.Y), Thomas (Rub n Tug), Studio, A Mountain of One, Beppe Loda, Quiet Village, Pete Herbert, Tim Paris, Padded Cell, Friendly Fires, Idjut Boys, Mongolian Jetset, Faze Action and many more. Severino began his DJ career in Mantova, Northern Italy. At the age of 26 he made the move to London where his job was record buyer for Italian Disco Label, Disco Inn. His work with Disco Inn has been one of success and has brought a smile to many a London clubbers face. In 1998 Severino decided to make a step into club promotion. His first venture was with friends Rob Wood (of the unforgettable Jockey Slut) and Michael Morley (Zomba Records and Lucky Numbers) and their party was Happy Families. They began their night at the Easts premier cocktail DJ bar Cocomo. As word spread numbers increased and Fabric was their next port of all with a bi-monthly residency knocking the socks of all who came to shake their tail feathers! The Lifthouse house was Happy Families next home which the boys promoted for just over a year. During the same time Severino met Jim Stanton (The Cock & Horse Meat Disco) and began to make a little part of the gay scene. His residencies came in quick and fast and in these days Severino is making his music heard some of Vauxhalls finest gay establishments like Crash, AM and particularly at the legendary Sunday parties Horse Meat Disco. He has also secured himself regular slots at 333 Saturdays and latest news is his involvement with longterm friend Nico De Ceglia in running and djing at Nico's established CODEX parties alongside their other partner Julius. CODEX is currently at AKA every third Thursday of the month. All in all this DJ is one of the hardest workers around and his taste and flare for playing brings a smile to all who have the pleasure to hear him play. You can expect anything from disco, house, electro and soulful vocal music. But most of all this DJ loves his music and wants to share in his vast and amazing music knowledge with all who come to his dancefloor
